Why Is There So Much Suffering In the World?


Possible Answer

The assumption of the disciples was that suffering was a direct ___punishment from God.

But Jesus refused to accept either alternative saying, “neither this man nor his parents sinned.”

This happened so that the ___work of God
might be displayed in his life. (John 9:3)

God is not the business of balancing an eternal checkbook where you pay per sin with pain. Such belief is more than superstitious it is just plain __wrong.


Consider my Servant Job

Very well, then, he is ____in your hands
