Does God really send people to hell forever?  Yes

Just as a man is destined to die once and after that to face judgment.   (Hebrews 9:27)

If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)

Why does God tell us about hell?

• Not so scare us into heaven
• Because it's true.
• The threats of hell are directed to those who believe that they are saved but they are  not.
• And for those comfortable in their sin.

The only answer to the terrors of hell is the One condemned to hell in our place.
